Message from the Director
Hello Library Patrons!
I hope this message finds you well. We are in full swing of the Wabash Public Library Summer Reading Program! This year’s theme is “Color Our World” and instead of counting pages or books, we are counting minutes read. There are ten badges to earn for the completion of the programs and prizes that accompany those levels of achievement- from food coupons, books and small toys for the littles to candy, free books and library merchandise for adults, there are prizes for everybody!
There are tons of events at WCPL this summer in conjunction with the program! Check out https://www.wabash.lib.in.us/eventscalendar for all things you can do at WCPL to be a part of the Summer Library program fun!
Lastly, the WCPL is a recipient of the American Library Association’s Libraries Transforming Communities grant to work with the differently abled community in Wabash- we are partnering with the Purdue Extension Office and the ARC of Wabash to install a raised bed garden at the corner of Cass and Hill Streets, catty-cornered from the library. Keep an eye out for the progress as we grow vegetables and flowers to raise awareness about healthy eating habits and the disabled community here in Wabash, IN.

Please visit the library- we are grateful to serve the people in the Wabash community and hope you might come see all that is going on- we are here for you!
